Florida Hotels....
Key Largo
The
following review of Florida hotels in Key Largo is dedicated to
presenting the best hotels for travelers planning
fishing vacations to
Key Largo.
While Key Largo is a very popular destination for activities like scuba
diving and snorkeling, with North America's only living coral
reef
located just offshore from the Keys, the fishing in the backcountry
waters of Florida Bay is very rewarding, too!
The Key Largo hotels reviewed here were chosen because of the welcoming
atmosphere for anglers, and emphasis on fishing. Prices as
well as level of comfort varies from place to place.
Overall, we think you just might find a hotel here that will make your
Florida fishing vacations very memorable.

Located on Key Largo Bay,
this is the lodging
closest to the the park's John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park,
located about a mile offshore from Tarpon Flats. Bring your
boat
to try fishing the reefs and wrecks at the park, or ask the onsite
marina
about hiring a charter. Kayaks are available at no charge,
too. This hotel is small but very nice; better make your
reservations ASAP! The average price per night is $206.

Designed with an
emphasis on fishing,
Dove Creek Lodge has boats available for hire, or you can charter a
fishing trip with a guide. Located on the water,
there's a restaurant & bar next door; also, there's 2-bedroom
suites available. Built a couple of years ago, it's about a block from
the main roads, which means it's less noisy. $252
average cost per night.
