A Florida Gulf Coast
Vacation...
Memorable Fishing Trips Are
Found at West Central Florida's Gulf
Coast
A Florida Gulf Coast
vacation just might be what you've been looking for...
....that is, IF you're searching for a memorable
fishing trip.
Look at a map of Florida, Coast on the Gulf of Mexico side.
What
unique feature jumps out at you immediately?
Why, Tampa Bay, of course. It's the very heartbeat and pulse
of fishing action in the central west Coast in Florida!
Florida Gulf Coast Vacation #1: Tampa
Bay
Besides a world-class football team, Tampa
Bay is well known for
spectacular tarpon fishing in the summer months along the beaches and
around the bridges.
That's a mighty nice Tarpon that's being wrestled with here:

From the Gandy Bridge to the Hillsborough River,
the city of Tampa has year-round fishing excitement.
The largemouth bass is an especially energetic fish
to tangle with; don't miss out of some great fresh water fishing on the
Hillsborough River.
Florida Gulf Coast Vacation #2: St
Petersburg Florida
Not to be outdone, Tampa's sister city, St
Petersburg, Florida, is home to the
famous Skyway Fishing Pier, which is the world's
longest fishing pier.
One end of the Gandy Bridge is on the St Pete side of Tampa Bay.
Be sure to visit the Fort DeSoto State Park, one of
the most popular parks in America. The park has top-knotch
beaches, and top-knotch fishing too.

Florida Gulf Coast Vacation #3:
Clearwater
If you prefer a more relaxed fishing experience, look no further than
peaceful Clearwater
Florida. It's a city with a little slower pace, and it's
just
a short drive up the Gulf Coast from Tampa and St. Pete.
Clearwater Beach is composed of the lovely white sugar-sand that is
such a part of Florida's natural beauty.
Clearwater Florida fishing action is done on some of the best beaches
on the Gulf Coast.
The white sand beaches are
great for swimming, and you'll find some nice surf fishing around
Clearwater, too.
Pier rats will adore Clearwater's Pier 60. Nature
lovers appreciate the Marine Aquarium that's adjacent to the pier.
